Created by Simon Morris, FLYTE is a simple desk lamp that features some pretty incredible technology. Using carefully-placed magnets, the bulb actually floats in the air.

#3 So How Does This New Light Work?

You line up the center of the LED bulb with the center of the FLYTE base. When the light comes on, you let go, and your lightbulb levitates.

#4 Special Magnets Make It Work.

The base is made with oak, ash, and walnut wood. The bulb is an energy efficient LED, long lasting bulb with special magnets built in the bottom of the fixture.

Just tap the surface of the base to turn the light on or off. This innovative design is like nothing that has ever come before it, and it can easily become an elegant focal point of any room.
