Man Who Ate Only Subway For A Month Shares The Shocking Changes To His Body
A man who decided to eat nothing but Subway for an entire month has shared the unexpected changes his body went through.
Sure, a foot-long sub is a great choice for a quick work lunch, but imagine eating it every single day for four weeks straight. That has to get repetitive, right?
And let’s not forget the impact a sandwich-heavy diet could have on your health over time.
Despite this, Frian Frias, a content creator from Canada, challenged himself to stick to a diet made entirely from Subway's menu for an entire month. The results? Pretty surprising.
Regulars at the sandwich chain know it’s not just about subs - there are plenty of other options on the menu.
Frian occasionally treated himself to a cookie or a bag of chips, but since his main goal was to lose weight, he kept those indulgences to a minimum.
His approach to the challenge was simple drop a stone in weight. To achieve that, he limited himself to just one meal a day, which was always from Subway.
He allowed himself snacks like cookies and crisps occasionally, but his usual go-to was a foot-long veggie sub, sometimes paired with a small potato bun.
By sticking to this meal plan, Frian was consuming about 670 calories per day. That’s just a quarter of the recommended 2,500 daily calories for an average man.

Since he mostly stuck to veggie-based sandwiches and avoided meat products, Frian successfully lost over a stone (15 pounds, or 8 kg) in just one month.
At the end of the challenge, he stepped on the scale and weighed in at 12st 11lbs.
A key factor in his weight loss journey was the type of bread he chose, as he explained in his video: "The 9 grain wheat and the flatbread are made from whole grains, they have complex carbohydrates in them."
Now, after a month of nothing but Subway, you’d think Frian would be completely sick of it. But surprisingly, that’s not the case.
"I'm still going to have Subway on a regular basis after this, I'm just going to take a little bit of a break," he said.
Honestly, maybe taking a short break is the smart move.
