One mother was on a mission to improve her fitness, so she hired a personal trainer to guide her towards achieving her goals.
Unfortunately, she misunderstood one of his instructions, leading to an embarrassing mix-up.
Sticking to a workout routine can be challenging, particularly if you’re not naturally self-disciplined.
Having someone to keep you accountable often helps steer you in the right direction.
This is where the role of a personal trainer becomes crucial.
They not only design a workout plan that fits your body type and fitness objectives but also ensure you remain committed to it.
However, one mother humorously mentioned that she might need to find a new trainer due to a misunderstanding that made her too embarrassed to meet him again.
Gemma Hill, who works as a radio presenter for Heart West Midlands, shared that she had started with a new trainer.
He instructed her to take 'before' photos in her underwear.
He emphasized not to suck in her stomach or try to pose flatteringly but to "be honest" to have a real comparison for later progress.
Following the instructions, Gemma took the photos in her underwear and sent them over, but was left mortified by his response.
She posted a screenshot of their conversation on her TikTok account, @radiogemmahill.
In it, you can see Gemma’s photo before the trainer quickly clarified:
"Hey, sorry Gem I meant to take photos for yourself not to send to me. So you can check out your progress."
To this, the embarrassed presenter responded: "OMG I'm so sorry. What a t**t I thought I was meant to send them to you. How embarrassing. I'm so sorry."
The trainer replied, laughing: "No lol I don't ask clients to send me pictures in underwear. I was eating dinner with my girl she's quizzing me 'who is this chick...'"
Gemma humorously titled the video 'How do I go back' with a despairing emoji, yet many of her viewers assured her that it was an understandable mistake.
One viewer commented: "My PT told me to take pics but said do not send me them so I'm assuming others have before..."
Another reassured her: "Don't worry I probably would have thought the same! I would have assumed the PT had a before and after board or website or something!"
The mishap left others in stitches, with one person saying: "Sorry but that's so funny..."
And yet another added: "Second-hand embarrassment for you."
