A YouTuber known for his prank videos, which gained him thousands of subscribers, ultimately decided to quit after releasing controversial 'joke' videos involving him kissing his mom and sister.

Unsurprisingly, these videos did not receive a warm reception.

The YouTuber, known as Prank Invasion and whose real name is Chris, usually attracted thousands of viewers to his channel, which predominantly featured kissing pranks.

His videos often depicted him approaching and kissing various women who appeared to be strangers on the street.

However, it was the videos titled 'Kissing My Actual Sister Prank!' and 'Kissing My Actual Mom Prank!' that proved to be the most shocking.

And we're not talking about a simple peck on the cheek here.

Chris actually filmed himself passionately kissing his mom and sister.

He later confirmed to Fabulous Digital that the videos were authentic.

"She is my real half-sister," he explained to the publication in 2019.

"So, true she is not fully my blood but she is half and that is a fact."

After uploading these videos, Prank Invasion faced a barrage of criticism.

One viewer commented, "How was kissing your sister a prank? You actually kissed her."

Another demanded, "His YouTube channel needs to be deleted."

Following the backlash, Prank Invasion's channel was indeed deleted, and Chris has not posted any videos under that name since then.

On June 5, 2019, Chris announced his departure from his channel on platform X, expressing his feelings with the words, "Thank you for everything. It was a fun journey."

He added, "One thing is for certain, whether you loved me or hated me...when you're 90 years old rocking in your old chair...you will still remember exactly who PrankInvasion was or who Chris is...whatever my name is..."

In 2021, another YouTuber named SunnyV2 delved into what exactly happened to Prank Invasion.

He discovered that many of Chris's videos were actually staged with actors he had hired to participate in the kissing scenes.

SunnyV2 also noted that Prank Invasion's channel might have been demonetized prior to his disappearance from YouTube.

Chris himself hinted at this in a post, saying, "Demonetization is a [motherf***er]."

This, coupled with the intense criticism over the kissing videos with his family members, is believed to have prompted him to step away from his channel.

In addition, Chris shared in 2019 that he had decided to move to Las Vegas 'on a whim,' indicating his readiness for a new beginning.
